About Me

Julia is a New York–based sustainable finance professional and wildlife artist. She works within the Sustainable Finance Capital Markets team, with a specialization in Latin America and the Caribbean, where she structures thematic-labeled fixed income products, such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans, across a diverse range of sectors.

As an emerging artist, Julia specializes in scratchboard, creating works that highlight biodiversity and endangered species with her platform, SulitScratch. She is passionate about spotlighting species underrepresented in wildlife conservation. Her portfolio spans over 350 species, with features in exhibitions across New York and London. Her work includes collaborations with global conservation organizations, as well as affiliations with leading artistic and environmental networks. Julia is recognized as an Active Member of the International Society of Scratchboard Artists and an Associate Member of Artists for Conservation. She is also a Junior Board Member of South African conservation organization, Wild Tomorrow.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Development from Columbia University. Outside of her professional and advocacy work, she loves to learn languages, is an avid trekker and a competitive long-distance open water swimmer.

Through my artwork, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder, inviting viewers to appreciate the intricate details and profound significance of the natural world. With each scratchboard piece I create, I hope to instill a deep connection between the viewer and the captivating essence of our planet's biodiversity.
